| Construction Details |
The Torex® GVM Tub Series has a
U-shaped process channel of heavy steel construction. The tub bottom,
support gussets, and outer materials are heavy-duty steel plate. It
is mounted on a rigid, rectangular base and suspended with heavy-duty
springs.
TUB LINING: The processing tub is fully lined with a 3/4" minimum
thickness 88 Durometer Urethane in all wear areas of the machines.
LUBRICATION SYSTEM:
The bearings are grease lubricated. The lubrication is provided by an
automatic greasing system, which is standard equipment on the machines.
DRIVE MOTORS AND BELT DRIVE:
Drive is by V-belt. Motors range from 1hp to 5hp. Normal processing speed
is 1750 rpm. The drive motor is mounted on the base for easy access.
Suitable guards are provided.
